Once your student knows where they'll apply, we'll help them brainstorm ideas for the Common App and other essays. We'll review essay structure and highlight key points they can feature in their essays. When their drafts are complete, we'll edit their work.

Some students are confident in their writing and feel ready to take on the essays within the Common App.
But even the most capable writers can benefit from an extra set of eyes. Whether your son or daughter could do with a simple line edit on a supplemental essay or a larger-scale overhaul of their Common App, we offer the flexibility of hourly editing rates.
Supporting your child through college applications can be tricky. You want them to drive the bus, but the stakes are high. Sometimes, it's hard to tell how much support they need. That's where we come in.
In a 15-minute call with you, we'll learn a bit about your student, their college plans and how we can best help. Our goal is to help your student find their voice, fine-tune their application and help them stand out in the admissions process. Along the way, we'll join their cheerleading section, while also holding them accountable to timelines. We look forward to meeting you and your student.
In this session, we'll get to know your student. We'll talk about timelines, the schools they're targeting and their goals.
Together, we'll identify which Personal Statement prompts will best suit their experience, and which programs/colleges will require supplemental writing.
After meeting with your student, we'll divide and conquer with a shared spreadsheet, tracking essay requirements and timelines.
In the meantime, your student will write and polish their Personal Statement and other essays. When they've completed the work on their side, they'll send it to us for editing.
Once we receive your student's first draft, we'll provide suggested changes for both structural and line-level edits.
In most cases, your student will have a complete college application with two rounds of edits. If there is considerably more work to be done, we'll bill at our hourly rate.
